Soon, members and prospective members visiting the credit union’s branch will experience a new and improved office! A renovation is planned to begin before year end and is expected to take six to eight weeks to complete. Due to the scope of the project, the branch will be closed during much of the renovation.
Betsy Mercier, chief executive officer of the credit union, said she hopes the temporary closure won’t be too much of an inconvenience, adding that she believes the updated design will be worth it.
“We’ve been planning this for some time now,” Mercier said. “It’s exciting to see it finally get off the ground and we can’t wait to unveil the new look and feel of the credit union. The new design will provide a comfortable, relationship-focused environment where members can come in and have a 'one touch,' uniquely individualized experience.”
While the plan is to close the branch during the renovation, the credit union stands committed to have representatives on site during limited business hours to handle services such as notary and safe deposit box access. There is also an ATM located near the branch in building 16, where members can continue to access cash and make deposits as needed. As always, the credit union’s contact center (404-325-3270, press 3), on-line banking, Chamblee, and Northlake branches will be available for members needing full service access.
